A new report from the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research (NIBR) shows that refugees settle faster when they enter into an agreement of self-settlement approved by the municipality. The researchers believe that this practice can reduce the use of municipality resources and make the scheme more predictable and transparent for both the refugees and the reception centers. Refugee Home makes it easier for both for the municipality and for the refugees. By using Refugee Home, you contribute to improving the integration processes in society. Additionally, you will build relations, offer a helping hand, and hopefully build friendships that can last a lifetime. We aim to find a refugee or a refugee family that you can get along with, which is why we ask for more information than you traditionally need to provide as a landlord.
Remember that families are not the only ones seeking accommodation. Single refugees, most of them men, also need a place to stay. A network and a helping hand are especially important for single refugees.
